Mia, paramedic science
At uni, we have clinical days where we practice practical skills using equipment such as mannequins, life packs, fake arms and cannulation needles. We are on the ambulance twice a week, so we get to experience our future job right now! It also means that we can practice things we learn in both theory and clinical uni sessions which is really good for reinforcing our learning.

Specialist facilities
Staff and technicians will support your learning on campus in our specialist facilities that mirror actual clinical and therapeutic settings. Advanced simulation spaces and flexible learning areas allow you to practise essential skills safely, apply theory to realistic scenarios, and prepare effectively for professional practice.
The facilities include a clinical imaging suite, an exercise rehabilitation gym, occupational therapy craft rooms, physiotherapy suites, podiatry clinic and a replica home environment.
