STOP 5: WATTS BUILDING
The Watts Building is one of the main teaching hubs on Moulsecoomb campus, home to lecture theatres, seminar rooms, computer suites and the Brighton International College. It also houses our media courses and a range of filming and editing suites on the ground floor, which students from any subject can use for academic projects or personal creative work.
Central Media Services
On the ground‑floor is our filming and editing suites open to all students for coursework or personal creative projects.
On‑site café and social space
The Megabytes Cafe is located in the Social and Informal Learning Space (SILS), on the first floor next to the Information Services Helpdesk.
Journalism suites
Newsroom with live news and sports feeds as well as a podcast studio and fully equipped computer suite gives you an authentic real-life journalistic experience.
Brighton International College
Watts is also home to Brighton International College which provides degree‑prep courses and guaranteed progression to a University of Brighton degree for students who pass.
