FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE
We believe the investment is worth it, but we know cost is a big consideration. You need to know what support you’re getting – and at Brighton, there may be even more help than you realise …

Maddie – Student Jobs Hub Manager
You’ll have access to the Student Jobs Hub to support you in finding part-time jobs on campus and in the local area. Plus, you can book an appointment with me for personalised support with your job search and applications!
PART-TIME JOBS – JOBS HUB
Lots of students work part-time alongside their studies to earn money and develop new skills and experiences. Our Student Job Hub brings together all the jobs on offer at the university as well as further afield, so you only need to look in one place.
Paid roles for the university and students’ union include working in cafes, shops, bars and sports centres on campus, or as a student ambassador to support university activities.
When you visit us, you'll meet our ambassadors as they help show you what it's like at Brighton. They work at open days and online events, visit schools and colleges, and create content for our website, blogs and social media.
BRIGHTON STUDENTS’ UNION ESSENTIALS
All our students can access a number of things to help with managing money, like laptop loans, easy access to flexible part-time work, scholarships, employability grants and discounted travel. In addition, Brighton Students’ Union Essentials includes free groceries and basics when you need them, free social events and societies and funding to help when extra activities do have a cost.
