COMMITMENT #5

To be of, with and for Brighton & Hove and the region: working in partnership to forge an equitable future that impacts locally and globally.

COMMITMENT #5 OBJECTIVES

We will develop sector-leading partnerships with local business, private and public sector organisations, local government and community groups in order to enhance our education portfolio, advance our applied research and innovation for social benefit, and support the economic and social sustainability of the city and wider region.

Our partnerships with local schools and college groups will focus on maximising progression opportunities into higher education while addressing regional skills needs through collaborations that benefit learners and strengthen the regional educational ecosystem and economy.

Our education, research and innovation will engage with our place so that the city and wider region becomes our campus and our campus becomes the hub of creativity, sustainability, partnership and equity for the region and city.
