  • Tuition Fee Loan (repayable when you earn over the threshold)
  • Means‑tested Maintenance Loan
  • Additional support if you’re a parent or carer

Eligible UK students with household income under £25,000 may receive:

  • £500 cash bursary in Years 1–4 (subject to annual confirmation)
  • Additional bursaries for care‑experienced or estranged students
  • Sports scholarships (both universities)

NHS Bursary (from Year 5):

Support with tuition, living costs and dependants’ allowances (eligibility criteria apply).

International students:

Offer‑holders pay a deposit and must plan for full five‑year costs.

Typical living costs (guidance):

  • University halls: ~£128–£214/week (2025–26 figures)
  • Shared houses: ~£140/week (2024 average)

Other expected costs:

Stethoscope, laptop, travel for placements and regional attachments, accommodation during some rotations/electives.
